Gair Porter has been teaching since 1990 and a Principal Teacher since 1993.  He is also an ordained minister with a long-time interest in creating a culture of respecting human rights.  In nearly 30 years of teaching and leading he is committed to making schools a safe place for staff and pupils to thrive.  He has provided in-service training and events for teachers around Argyll & Bute and Glasgow.  He is a trainer for Assertive Discipline and has developed his own model of behaviour leadership that aims to develop skills for life, rather than a rules-based system.
